Regional media: the most underrated channel in Indian PR

Vernacular portals reach audiences national English media never touches — at a fraction of the cost.

India reads in its own languages. Regional and vernacular outlets deliver deeper trust and better engagement in tier-2 and tier-3 markets, where most consumer growth now happens. A Gujarat or Marathi wire placement often outperforms a national English placement on both reach and conversions for consumer brands. Build regional distribution into every campaign, not as an afterthought.
